Obituary Leon Kennedy was born on August 2, 1940 in Sumter, to the late David and Alberta Cousar Kennedy.He received his education at Walker Gamble High School.He was an entrepreneur in construction. In 1959, he met Willie Mae Levine-Habersham. Together they relocated to Philadelphia, PA in 1960 and from that union his first child Crystal Levine- Ryan was born.In December 1964, he married Loneda Jackson, which one son was conceived Leon Kennedy Jr. After living in Philadelphia, PA, he later united with the late Emma House and from that union they conceived Rosalie House in Bronx New York.Leon was the second youngest of ten children.Leon was a sharp dresser known to show up styling from head to toe. He had a cool personality that everyone loved. Leon always looked forward to having dinner dates at his favorite restaurant footprints with his daughter Crystal whenever she came to visit. As his health started to fail he relocated with his daughter to McDonough, Georgia where he spent his final days.In addition to his parenst he was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.He departed this life on Monday, May 25, 2020, in McDonough, Georgia.He leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memories; two daughters Crystal Levine- Ryan of McDonough,Georgia, Rosalie House of Bronx New York; a son, Leon Kennedy Jr. of Virginia; a sister, Rosa L Johnson of Philadelphia, PA; one brother-in-law, Hercules Garrett of Sumter, South Carolina; a special grandson, Rayshawn House; a special niece, Senoria Levine; a special friend, Tyra Mcshine; seven grandchildren, twelve great-grand children, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
