Larry Robinson was born on November 27, 1953, in Pinewood (Sumter County), South Carolina to the late Evelyn Richardson Robinson and the late Rufus Gooden. He attended Manchester High School in Pinewood and worked at Sumter Water and Waste Company until his health failed. On December 19, 2023, Larry departed this life to be with the Lord and reside in his heavenly home. In addition to his parents Larry was preceded in death by three brothers; Lewis Robinson, Edward Robinson, and Joseph Robinson. He leaves to cherish his memories, one son; Joey Robinson and one daughter; Myra Robinson Carter, both of New York City, one sister; Ophelia McConico, four brothers; King (Pearlin) Robinson, Robert (Sheila) Robinson, Eldora Robinson, Nat Brown, a bonus brother, his cousin; Marion Pugh, one sister in law; Gardenia Robinson, a special niece; Renee Clinton and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
