Obituary Mrs. Knenite Thompson Goines was born August 28,1957 in Manning to the late Washington and Katie Gibson Thompson. She was the baby sibling of three. She received her formal education in the public schools of Clarendon County. She was joined in holy matrimony to the late Clairmount Goines and to this union was blessed with two children. She was a member of Truly Committed Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. AL Smiling where she was adored by everyone. "Knee" as she was affectionally called was a loving humble, kind-hearted friend to everyone she met. She will be missed by those that had the privilege to know her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clairmount Goines and a brother, Ulysses  Thompson, Sr. She departed her earthly life on Monday,  July 27, 2020 in  Columbia, SC. She leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Emma Jane Anderson of Sumter, SC and Cindy Goines  of the home, a  dedicated and committed son-in-law, Derrick Anderson who was like a son, two beloved grandchildren, who were the apple of her eyes, Deonte'  Anderson and Devin Anderson; a sister, Josephine McCray of Manning, SC; a grandniece,  Kolby  Wilson that was like her granddaughter; a niece NyAsia  Wilson was her daily hairstylist; three devoted friends, Joyce (Ben) Wright of Wedgefield, SC, Vivian Franklin of Sumter, SC and Betty Riley of Rimini, SC; three devoted nieces that were her caregivers, Marie Jones, Ella Goines and Minnie Neal all of Sumter, SC; four sisters-in-law, Jessie Mae Goines, Natharine Riley and Uleause Goines all of Sumter, SC and   Alberteen Thompson of Manning, SC; two brothers-in-law, Albertus Conyers and Robert Wilson of Sumter, SC and a host of other relatives and friends.   To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Knenite Thompson Goines, please visit our floral store.
