Kevin Green, also known as "Big Daddy" was born on December 15, 1973 in Manning, South Carolina to Jim Green Sr. and Alice Green.  Kevin was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. He was a graduate of Furman High School. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. In May 2006, he married the former Evelyn Fleming. Kevin was a hard worker and he did every job he held with dignity. Before his health started to decline, he was a barber at True Legends Barber Shop. Besides his love for working, Kevin enjoyed grilling, riding his bike, and spending time with family and friends.  Kevin was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a social butterfly who never met a stranger. His special gift was being able to make jokes and have conversations with anyone he encountered. Kevin loved helping others and always showed support to his family and friends. He has touched the lives of so many with his unconditional love, generosity, and kindness. Kevin will forever be missed.  Kevin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Johnnie and Cammie Green, and  maternal grandparents, Sara and James Green. Kevin Green passed away on Tuesday morning, October 3, 2023. Kevin heard the Father's voice and he answered his call to come home and rest from his labor on earth and receive his heavenly reward.  Kevin leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife of over 17 years, Mrs. Evelyn Green; three beautiful daughters, Ke'Vae Green, Ny'a Isaac and Ka'Sya Green; two handsome sons, Kevin Green Jr. and Jaylen Green; two beautiful sisters, Melissa (Robert) Jennings and Michelle Green; three brothers, Ronald Green, Jim Green Jr., and James (Pamela) Green; mother-in-law, Robertha Fleming; two sister-in-laws, Mauble (Donnie) Montgomery and Rosa (Levern) Goodman;  brother-in-law, Jimmy (Sonequa) Fleming; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
