Kenneth Tucker, (Kim), was born July 29, 1966, to Marie Mickens Tucker and the late John Henry Tucker Sr. At an early age, Kim accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.  He was baptized and joined Mt. Olive AME Church in Woodrow, South Carolina.  Kim later joined New Fellowship Baptist in Sumter, South Carolina.  He was an independent truck driver for many years.  In his youth, Kim had a love for gospel music through songs.  He sang with the St Matthews Gospel Singers.  Kim's hobbies included watching Dallas Cowboys football games, watching race cars and talking with his family.   Kim was preceded in death by his father, John Henry Tucker, Sr;  brother-in-law, Michael Anthony Joe; paternal grandmother, Essie Tucker; and maternal grandparents, Johnny Sr. and Emma Mickens. Kim entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 12, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter, South Carolina. Kim leaves to cherish his memories, his loving mother, Marie Mickens Tucker; brother, John Henry Tucker, Jr.; three sisters, Elizabeth (Anthony) Polk, Rachel Joe, and Shawn (Cleo) Powell, all of Sumter, South Carolina; special friend, Minister Barbara Davis of Sumter, South Carolina; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relative and dear friends.
