Obituary Mr. Kendall Lamont "JoJo" Harvin was born April 23, 1980 in Sumter to Rachel Harvin and Bobby Maple. Kendall was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. He attended Manchester Elementary, Furman Middle and Lakewood High Schools. He was a chef at a variety of restaurants and a retirement home in North Carolina. He was a fan of sports, he loved basketball, football and softball. He was full of laughter with his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry Harvin , Victoria Harvin, Emma Harvin and Ishiah Maple, six aunts, Lucille (John) Grinnell, Rebecca Harvin, Betty Sinkler, Lucille Maple, Genva Vaughn, Ella Maple; great-grandparents, Lillie (Arthur) Huggins and Jackie (Mary) Harvin, five uncles, Henry Harvin Jr, Robert Harvin, Joseph Harvin, James Huggins and Larry Maple, and a special cousin, Delvin Harvin. He departed his earthly life on Thursday, April 8, 2021 in Asheville, NC He leaves to cherish his memories; a daughter, Jayla Harvin; his parents, Rachel Harvin and Bobby Maple; a grandmother, Ellen B. Maple; five sisters, Lasonya (Cory) McFadden, Tamika (Bobby) Harvin, Kyeisha (Tonya) Harvin,Lavitra (Travis) Brown, Tonya (Maymon) Pack; two brothers, Travin (Samantha) Harvin and Ricardo Harvin; a special friend, Tiffany Blackwell, her daughters, Jalon and Noelle; a special aunt, Jocarol (Robert) Hastie, four aunts, eight uncles and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
