John Eric McDaniel, son of Mary McDaniel and the late Eddie McDaniel was born September 1, 1971, in Sumter, South Carolina. John departed this life Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Richland Heart Hospital Columbia, South Carolina. John was educated in the Sumter County Public School system, and he graduated from the former Furman High School Sumter, South Carolina as a classmate of the graduating class of 1990. John worked for Pay Day Auto Sales as a Dealership Manager, for the past 8 years. He was enthusiastic about cars. John was known as a fun-loving, joyful, ambitious gentleman who had a profound love for family, friends, the community, his church, and God. At an early age, John accepted Christ. As a member of New Birth Holiness Church Sumter, South Carolina, John served as a musician, and he played the bass guitar. John leaves to cherish his memories a loving mother, Mary McDaniel of Sumter, South Carolina; a sister, Yvonne (Gary) Days of Savannah, Georgia; a brother, Edward McDaniel of Sumter, South Carolina; five nephews, Timothy (Tracey) McDaniel and Edward McDaniel, Jr. of Sumter, South Carolina, Steven Smith, and Qa'lik Scott of Savannah, Georgia; two nieces, Vanessa Scott and Na'mia Bostic of Savannah, Georgia; a God-Mother, Lottie Smiling,a host of Uncles, Aunts, other relatives, and friends.
