Obituary Mr. Jimmie Lee Wilson, Sr. was born on January 16, 1951. He was called to rest on May 10, 2013 after an illness. He was the son of the late Mr. Israel Moses III and Mae Thelma Edwards. He was raised by his grandparents, the late Albert (Tinny) and Mary Benbow Wilson of Sumter County. He will be lovingly remembered by his friends and family. Jimmie Lee attended the public schools of Sumter County. He was a 1970 graduate of Eastern High School. He also attended Sumter Area Technical College where he studied as a mechanic. He served his country in the United States Navy and was given an Honorable Discharge. He was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and his family is members of The Church in the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. Jimmie Lee was a friendly and outgoing person---No one was a stranger to him. He had a love for repairing cars and often worked on vehicles. He fixed cars and worked as a carpenter until the time of his illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Israel Moses, III and Mae Thelma Edwards; his stepfather, Roosevelt Edwards, Sr.; two brothers, Herbert Wilson and Roosevelt Edwards, Jr. He leaves behind to cherish his precious memories, his loving wife, Martha of the home, two sons, Jimmie Lee Wilson, Jr. and Tyrell Stukes both of Sumter, SC, two daughters, Inica Wilson of Sumter, SC and Stacey Brown of Plantation, FL., four grandchildren, Marisa Cooper and Ja'miah Wilson of Sumter, SC, Kenya Wilson of Wilmington, DE and Marcus Brown of Plantation, FL, five brothers, Robert Edwards and Nathaniel Wilson both of Sumter, SC, Israel Moses of Minnesota, Jerome Wilson of Greenville, NC and Rakheem Moses of Florida, three sisters, Mary (Esau) Walker of Sumter, SC, Juanita Bryant of Greenville, NC and Catherine Crews of Sumter, SC, three uncles, Steven Moses of Haggerstown, MD, Kenneth Brown of Washington, DC and Michael Edwards of Mayesville, SC, three aunts, Mary Louise Kirkland of Washington, DC, Rosa Jefferson and Mary Moses both of Mayesville, SC, grand aunt Helen Moses of Mayesville, SC, three sister-in-laws, Mary Smalls and Florena Edwards of Sumter, SC, Bessie (Danny) Wright of Kershaw, SC and Neola Addison of Hartsville, SC, two brother-in-laws, Dennis (Willene) Addison of Camden, SC and Buster (Carletha) Addison of Sumter, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
