Jeremie Devon Richardson Sr., 40, was born in Sumter, South Carolina on October 22, 1983 to Mardina Renee Richardson and Jeffery Tony Washington. He was also the second of five children born to Mardina Renee Richardson. Jeremie received his education in the public schools of New York City and Sumter, South Carolina.  He was known for many things, as he was many things to many people. Jeremie was a very passionate person. He loved his family, blood relatives and extended family alike. He was a fierce protector of those that he loved and in that still always kept a playful energy about himself that would always bring a smile to your face. He loved his children above all. Jeremie had a huge heart, always willing to help others and he will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him. Jeremie was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother and grandfather, Estelle Richardson and Elias Richardson; maternal grandmother,  Marie Richardson; paternal great-grandmother, Rosa Lee Blanding; and paternal grandmother, Frances L Washington. Jeremie Devon Richardson Sr. passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter, South Carolina. Jeremie leaves to cherish his precious memories and legacy, his mother, Mardina (Mama D) Richardson of Sumter, South Carolina; father, Jeffery Washington of Sumter, South Carolina; twenty children, Jeremie Devon Richardson Jr., Ja'Mai Richardson, Ja'Mari Richardson, Ja'Kailah Richardson, Journee Parrot,  Jeremany Richardson, Journee Richardson, JerVetta Richardson,  JuCenia Richardson, King Richardson, Jermien Richardson, Jaliyah Richardson, Ra'Mir Richardson, Banks Jackson, Kase Jones, Cartier Richardson, Je'Reme Richardson, Paxton Richardson, Kameron Brown, and Silas Withers; six brothers, Andre Richardson of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jamie Richardson of Sumter, Devene Douglas of Sumter, South Carolina, Wanyai Washington of Sumter, South Carolina, Dominique Washington of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Zion Washington of Sumter, South Carolina; three sisters, Waynetta Douglas of Sumter, South Carolina, Samantha Washington of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Janiyah Washington of Sumter, South Carolina; one uncle, Kenneth Richardson; one aunt, Ladonza Spann; cousin, Zakia Richardson; honorary family, Joe (Daddy Joe) Holmes, Marie (Ma) Scarborough, Shakeya Bell, Lashawne Ham, Jarea Green, Tyrea Scarborough, Shenika McNeil and a host of other family, stepchildren, relatives and dear friends.
