Obituary Jeanette Holliday Brown also known as, "Net" was born October 01, 1946 to the late Charlie and Janie Winn Holliday, Sr.Sister Brown was a dedicated member of St. Mark and Berea SDA Church. She held several positions to include, Sabbath School Superintendent, Buds and Pathfinder Leader, Bible Worker and Treasurer for the Church and the Academy. She served in the treasury department until she became ill.Sister Brown worked as a data processor/accountant, tax preparing early in life. Later in life she changed careers and became a home health aide. She enjoyed being of services to others.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Brown, Jr., son, Marcus Brown; grandson, Tamarcus Brown; brothers, Robert Holliday and Charlie Holliday, Jr.Sister Brown fought a long and hard battle with Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma, but succumbed to the disease on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at her home where she desired to be with her family.Sister Brown leaves to cherish her memory, four daughters, Denise (Louise) Deschamps of Pinewood, SC, Valerie Brown and Diana Brown both of Sumter, SC and Pamela (Murray) Blanding of Boyd, MD; son, Kenyatte Brown, Sr. of Yazoo, MS; twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Eartha Hopkins of Williamsburg, VA and Shirley Warren of Cincinnati, OH; three sisters-in-law, Victoria Gallashaw of Dalzell, SC, Virginia Kind and Martha Gregg both of Sumter, SC; brother-in-law, Robert Brown of Pittsburg, PA; two special friends whom she cherished and loved, Annie McGainey and Cassie Willoughby and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
