https://www.hdezwebcast.com/show/james-sweat James Edward "Bo" Sweat was born September 8, 1958, in Clarendon County, South Carolina to the late Mary Louise Sweat Goodman and the late Willie James Sweat. James received his education in the Sumter County School System and graduated from Sumter High School in 1979. He was employed by Korn Industries for thirty (30) years and later retired from Pilgrims Pride after his health started to decline. James accepted Christ as his Savior and was a member of Family Fellowship Church. James was a loving person that brought everyone together. He enjoyed working in the yard, spending time with his wife, Thomasina, of 31 years, and his family. To know James was to love him. In addition to his parents, James was preceded by two sons, Johnathan Davis and Jermaine Davis. On Thursday, March 30, 2023, at 1:00 PM, James answered the call from our Heavenly Father and slipped peacefully into eternal rest. James leaves to cherish his precious memory, his lovely wife, Thomasena D. Sweat; four sons, Tyrell Charles, Jason (Oliva) Alexander, Rico Lewis and Terre Alexander; two daughters, Martha Shawntay Davis and Nikki Davis; three grandchildren raised in the home, Symone Jackson, Shalaya Jackson, and Sir Davis; eight additional grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a stepmother, Gwendolyn Sweat; three brothers, Randy (Billie Joe) Sweat, W J (Linda) Sweat and Jamell Sweat all of Sumter, South Carolina; two sisters, Maryann (Anthony) Hayes and Janice Leneau; two brothers-in-law, Tommie (Sheila) Johnson and Eugene Davis; two sisters-in-law, Lucy (Wardell) Singleton and Patricia (Terence) Williams; two special friends, Bert Scott and Marion Wells; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
