Obituary Mr. James Humes Jr., son of the late James Humes Sr. and Linnie Doiley Humes was born on October 7, 1947 in Georgetown, South Carolina. He departed this life on October 21, 2015 at Tuomey Regional Medical Center in Sumter, South Carolina.He was raised in a Christian home and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He attended the public schools in Sumter, South Carolina. A former student of Eastern High School, he served as a drum major for the Eastern Trojan Band. He was taught wood work ethics by his parents that led him to become a very hard, devoted and dedicated worker at Santee Print Works in Sumter for many years, Wallace Seafood in Sumter, and Lesane Trucking for 20 years. He was a person who loved people, loving and kind, always smiling and laughing with everyone, a very kind hearted person that loved his family.He leaves to cherish precious memories his wife, Jessie Howard Humes of Manning, SC; three sisters, Rosa Dunham of the home, Gable, SC, Flora (Robert) Brown of Pensacola, FL, Gale (Leroy) Copeland of Sumter, SC; five brothers, Leroy (Rev.
