Obituary James "Boot" Champagne, 74, departed this life on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020, in Sumter. He was born on Feb. 6, 1946, in Sumter, to the late William and Patience Lee Champagne. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in Elliott, SC.
