Obituary Issa Farmer was born July 5, 1935 in Sumter to the late Bozier and Viola Walters Farmer. Issa was employed at Korn Industries for forty-eight years until his retirement. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Lee Rose Farmer, five sisters, Elloree Silas, Ella Mae Farmer, Annie Amos, Minnie Ruth Butler and Mattie Lee Banks, five brothers, Jimmy Farmer, Jeff Farmer, Ezekiel Farmer, Henry Gipson and Malachai Farmer. He departed this earthly life on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Prsima Health Tuomey. He leaves to cherish his memories; a daughter, Dianne Farmer; a son, Thomas Farmer; a sister, Emma Wright; four grandchildren, Sonya Farmer, Quincy (Yolanda) Farmer, Corey (Michelle) Farmer and Ieshia Farmer; twelve great-children, Maleek, Tyran, Vontae, Niesha, Dionte, Nyaslia, Tylink, Nyashia, Amarion, Tashianna, Imani and Promise; three sisters-in-law, Susie Lee Bracey, Alice Bracey and Delores Rose; two brothers-in-law, Thomas Washington and Isaiah Leneau; three special nieces, Mazielle Hammett, Aszah Strong and Shaylia Strong, special people who was very dear to his heart, Herbert (Sharon) Benjamin, Martha Washington, Mike Leneau, The staff at Red Bay Grocery Store, Carolina Diabetes and Kidney Center and the Bus Drivers for RTA and a host of other relatives and friends. The family is receiving friends at the home of his granddaughter, Kim Farmer 940 Susie Rembert Street Sumter, SC from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM daily.
