Henry Lee Rich was born October 9, 1948, in Florence, SC to Sadie Rich Parks and Taff Williams. Henry was educated in the public schools of Florence, SC. Later in life he moved to Long Island, NY, and he gained employment with a local chemical plant. He worked there until his retirement. Henry enjoyed life, as well as family and friends. He was an avid wrestling fan. In 2015, Henry met Ozella Junious. Their connection was truly ordained by God. In 2016, they were united in marriage and relocated back to Sumter, SC. Upon their return to Sumter, they joined Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Pinewood and served faithfully. In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Cobbs. Henry departed this life on Thursday, September 28, 2022 in Sumter, SC. Henry leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Ozella J. Rich; three children, Jacqueline Gary of New York, NY, Nicole Gary of Bronx, NY and Noheem Ashorob of Bridgeport, CT; nine grandchildren; four brothers, George Parks, Jr. of Timmonsville, SC, Samuel Parks of Florence, SC, Walter (Barbara) Parks of Myrtle Beach, SC and Daniel Parks of Coward, SC; three sisters-in-law, Viola (Dawson) James, Susan Junious and Dorothy (Alfred) Brunson; brother-in-law, Robert Lee Junious; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
