Obituary Hazel J. Jackson-Logan was born May 4, 1958 in Richmond, VA to Mary Jackson-Williams and the late John Light. She was the fourth child born to this union.Hazel was raised in the Richmond Community and at an early age she joined the Gospel Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Youth and Adult Choirs. She later joined the Saint Paul's Baptist Church where she was a member of the Women's Choir. Hazel's musical career included a singing review with the Platters and the Coasters in Las Vegas, NV.Hazel was preceded in death by her father, John Light and brother, Rudolph Jackson.Hazel J. Jackson-Logan departed this earthly life on Monday, March 26 2012 in Richmond, Virginia.She leaves to celebrate her life, her husband, Leroy Logan; her mother, Mary Jackson- Williams; two sons, Darryl Hart, Battle Creek, MI and Jamaal Battle, Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren, Treshawn Aikens and Leeona Heart; brother, Jerome Jackson, Las Vegas, NV; two sisters, Irma Woolridge and Wilnette Robinson both of Richmond, VA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
