Obituary He was born December 7, 1954 in Washington, DC to the late Josephine Strader and Charles Brown. Gregory served two years in the United States Army. Gregory was a great and loving husband, father, and  family man who was loved by all. Gregory  enjoyed visiting and spending time with his  nephew William (Moonman), niece Tamyra, and their family. Gregory was a faithful member of Supernatural Deliverance Mega Center in Sumter, SC under the leadership of Apostle Phillip O. Coleman. Gregory supported everyone that crossed his path. With a heart for giving, he was always there for family and friends in need. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Donna Strader, Aljeannie Strader, Gary Brown, Charles Brown and Tyrone Brown. He departed this life to be rewarded in heaven on Saturday, January 2, 2021 in Sumter. He leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Linda Brown; two sons, James Brown and Gregory Brown, Jr.; a daughter, Elizabeth Brown; two  brothers, Marcel Gray and Bobby Brown; two     sisters, Effie Butler and Diane Gibbs; eight grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.   To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Gregory Brown, Sr., please visit our floral store.
