Gregg "Tuna" Miller, Jr. was born on June 11, 1937, in Sumter County, South Carolina to the late Gregg and Rebecca Rivers Miller. Gregg was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. Gregg worked for the City of Mount Holly in North Carolina and retired from the city.  Gregg was first united in holy matrimony to Beverly Miller and then to Sylvia Ann Miller. In addition to his parents, Gregg was preceded in death by three children, Bo Miller, Dale Miller and Kevin Miller; three brothers, Wash Miller, Thomas Miller, and Matthew Miller; a sister, Marilyn Miller. Gregg departed this life on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Pruitt Health Nursing Home in Columbia, South Carolina. Gregg leaves to cherish his memories, four sons, Gregg Miller, III, Reverend Tyrone (Delores) Keller, Michael (Diane) Doctor and Phillip Doctor; five daughters, Michelle Jones, Monica Miller, Wilhelmia Doctor, Jennifer (Michael) Corbin, and Hope Baker; twenty-seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; three sisters, Curlie (Thornton) Waiters, Janie Moore and Binkey Reynolds; five brothers, Ernest (Lula) Miller, Charles (Annie Mae) Miller, Gerald (Cardean) Miller, Clyde (Peggy) Miller and Glen Miller; three special nephews, Kevin, Derrick and Lorenzo and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
