Obituary George "Sam" Miller was born February 22, 1959 in Mayesville, SC to the late Benjamin and Reverend Rosa B. Wilson Miller, Sr.George grew up in the House of God Church at an early age, where he loved playing the drums and guitar.George was united in marriage to Sylvan Briggs Miller, which they were blessed to share forty-one years and from this blessing three children were born.During his lifetime, George held many jobs and one of the jobs he enjoyed the most was driving an eighteen wheeler. In his spare time he enjoyed watching football and going fishing.George was preceded in death by his son, Tyrone (Ron) Miller; a sister, Dorothy Brunson; three brothers, Benjamin Miller, Jimmy Miller and Willie Miller and three nephews.George transitioned from this life on Friday, September 6, 2019 in Sumter, SC.George leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Sylvan B. Miller; daughter, Adrienna (John) Miller; son, Clayton Miller, Sr; six grandchildren, De'Andre, Talaysia, Ty'ya, Heartlyn, Taylor (his little peanut) and Clayton Miller, Jr.; four sisters, Laura Lesane, Wilhelmenia Jennings all of Sumter and Patricia (Paul) Benjamin of Augusta, GA; one brother, James (Gloria) Miller of Philadelphia, PA; two aunts, Jannie B. Montgomery of Sumter and Mary B. Miller of Mayesville and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
