Obituary Everett Levon Russell, 50, husband of Sheila Russell was born April 14, 1968 to John Vern Herriott, Sr. and Pauline Russell in Sumter County, South Carolina.Everett was educated in the public school system of Sumter County and was a graduate of Hillcrest High School.Everett was a hard-working individual who began working at the age of 12 years old by doing yard work. He worked as a maintenance man for Carolina Properties for approximately 20 years. He then transitioned to work for the Sumter County Civic Center until his health began to decline.Everett loved fishing, gardening, painting and entertaining family and friends. One of his favorite things to do was taking trips to the beach. He was a devoted husband and father.Everett was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Henry T. Russell and Pauline O. Russell, paternal grandparents; Robert Herriott and Maggie Herriott, and three brothers; Michael Wayne Russell, Bobby John Lewis and John Vern Herriott.He departed this earthly life on Friday, October 12, 2018.Everett leaves to cherish precious memories his loving and devoted wife; Shelia Russell, daughter; Daisha Jackson, parents; John Vern Herriott, Sr. and Pauline Russell, four sisters; Carletta Russell, Linda (Anthony) Robinson, Glenda Herriott and Reyneisha Wright; two brothers; Arthur John (Elaine) Brown and Darrell (Tracy) Herriott, best friend; Alonzo McGee and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.The family is receiving friends at 803 Miller Road Sumter, SC.
