Evangelist Ollie Mae Gibson was born on November 2, 1953, in Manning, South Carolina to Odessa T. Cantey and the late Solomon Cantey, Sr. Evangelist Gibson attended elementary through high school in Clarendon County, South Carolina. She was a keen entrepreneur and business owner, who started several businesses throughout the Midlands region of South Carolina. She is remembered as a devout and principled Mother, a dependable and giving Sister, an enthusiastic member of the community, and most importantly, a faithful follower of God. Evangelist Gibson was preceded in death by five brothers, Solomon Cantey, Jr., Melvin Cantey, Cleveland Cantey, Willie Cantey and Ervin Cantey; and two sisters. Evangelist Gibson departed this life on Friday, October 27, 2023, in Sumter, South Carolina. Evangelist Gibson leaves to cherish her memory, ten children, (seven girls and three boys), LaKeisha Green, Eric Gibson, Shenir Holliday, Felicia (Nathaniel) Witherspoon, Maureen De Haro, Mollie (Erek) Wilson, Sherman Gibson, Nessia Gibson, Anita Gibson and Alfonse Gibson; thirty-six grandchildren, Natassijah Green, Willie Ja'Care Green, Ja'Miya Green, Za'Miyrah Richardson, Alissa Gibson, Jasmine Holliday, Kevin Holliday, Jr., Brianna Holliday, Kobe Holliday, Nathaniel Witherspoon, Jr., Sha'Niya Witherspoon, Ja'Mel Witherspoon, Alisa Witherspoon, Daniel Witherspoon, Isabella De Haro, Zonie Daniels, V, Kaelin Davis, Jada Davis, Destinee Wilson, Raven Wilson, Marli Wilson, Marley Gibson, My'Sades Gibson, Audi Gibson, Sher-Kyra Gibson, Nireya Gibson, London Gibson, Camello Jenkins, Brooke Jenkins, Lea Jenkins, Maddison Jenkins, Zaye Gibson, Aalayisah Gibson, Gabrielle Gibson, Elijah Gibson, and Malaki Gibson; three great-grandchildren, Non'Tavious Green, Ja'Niya Green, and Bryson Woods; mother, Odessa T.
