A Time To Be Born Eric Tony Montgomery was born January 15, 1968 in Sumter, SC to Margaret Jennings Montgomery and the late Willie G. Montgomery, Sr. A Time for Every Purpose Under the Heaven Eric accepted Christ at an early age. Eric was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and furthered his education at DeVry University. He was self-employed as owner/operator of Montgomery Enterprise. Eric also worked for the Sumter County Sheriffs Office as a Deputy. Eric was affectionally known as "Cleany" a name given to him by his cousin because he was always clean and sharp dressed to impress. Eric departed this earthly life to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. A Time to Mourn Eric leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted and loving wife of twenty years, Lauris Rosario Montgomery; three daughters, Elaylah Montgomery, Miah Montgomery and Fredrika Williams all of Sumter, SC; his loving mother, Margaret Jennings Montgomery; one brother, Willie Montgomery, Jr.; one sister, Tammy (Ronnie) Montgomery Scott all of Sumter, SC; two grandchildren; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
