Obituary Mrs. Eliza Mae Alston, age 67, of Sumter, SC passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Sumter East Health and Rehab Center. She was born on August 6, 1944 to the late Charlie and Mary Pringle Hunter, Sr., in Sumter County. Mrs. Alston was married to the late Willie Alston.Mrs. Alston is survived by two sons, Kenneth Alston and Endre Alston; two daughters, Leshawne Alston and Anissa Alston; three brothers, Charlie Hunter, Jr., Allen Hunter, and Council Hunter; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Greater Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, 609 Miller Road, Sumter, SC with Reverend Dr. Marvin Hodge, Sr., Pastor officiating the service. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
