Obituary Mr. Edward Donald Schooley, 81, was born June 18, 1934 in Buffalo, NY to the late John Paul and Dorothy Perlet Schooley and the husband of the late Valerie Georgina Schooley.He was educated in the public schools of Buffalo and served his country faithfully as member of the United States Army, Navy and Air Force. He was a retired employee of General Motors.Edward Schooley departed this life on Sunday, October 18, 2015 in Monroe, NC.He is survived by three children, Robert/Bob (Karen) Schooley, John (Kim) Schooley and Linda (Jared) Postula; eleven grandchildren: Sarah Schooley, Ben Schooley, Emma Schooley, Madeleine (Mariusz) Michalik, Morgan Schooley, Nolan Schooley, Taylor Schooley, Andrew Postula, Kaitlyn Postula, Rebecca Postula, and Lindsey Postula; two great grandchildren, Lidia Michalik and Marek Michalik and a host of other relatives and friends.In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in memory of Mr. Edward Schooley to the Union County Shelter.
