Edmund Eugene McBride was born May 15, 1940, in Sumter, South Carolina to the late Frank and Geneva Sharper McBride. Edmund loved life and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. In addition to his parents, Edmund was preceded in death by two sisters, Katherine Ross and Francis Nelson; one brother, Sammie "Sneaky" Sharper; and his favorite sister-in-law, Rosetta McBride. Edmund departed this life on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 in Camden, South Carolina. Edmund leaves to cherish his memory, two sisters, Betty Funchess and Helen McBride; one brother, Thomas McBride, nephews, nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
