Eddie Alexander Boyd, son of Shirley Mae Boyd Frierson and Eddie Jennings was born July 3, 1983, in Sumter, South Carolina. Eddie begin his primary and subsequent schooling in Sumter, South Carolina. He was a graduated of Lakewood High School. Eddie was one of the kindest people you could ever meet, he opened his heart and always gave back to his community. One of Eddie's proudest moments was repairing cars as an auto mechanic. Eddie was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ronald Frierson; paternal grandmother, Clara Mae Jennings; uncle, Clarence Jennings and his best friend, Absonnell McKnight. Eddie departed this life on Monday, September 11, 2023, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. Eddie leaves to cherish his memories, his parents, Shirley Frierson and Eddie Jennings; six children, E'Laysha Lovely, A'Shanae Lovely, K'Shawn Boyd, Honesty Boyd, Korlen Boyd and Sincere Boyd; two grandchildren; six sisters, LaTasha Hudson, LaToya Hudson, Dr. Vanessa Jennings, Stephanie Boyd, Sonya (Telvin) Williams and NiKosha Dunham; two brothers, Ronkeem Frierson and James Jennings; three aunts, Vivian Boyd, Brenda (Robin) Davis, and Linda Jennings; one uncle, Robert (Melissa) Jennings; two close friends, Raven Ford and Kodi Weaver and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
