Earnestine Anderson was born on November 21, 1948, in Wedgefield, South Carolina, to the late Ernest “Tink” Wright and Louise “Beck” Oxendine Wright.
Earnestine was a loving, caring, and God-filled woman whose vibrant & anointed spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She possessed a strong and spirited personality, a joyful energy, and a connection with God that was impossible to overlook.
Earnestine was affectionately known by her family as “Tennie” and loved immensely for her feisty nature and the passion with which she lived her life. Earnestine had the biggest heart for others and found purpose in making those around her feel loved and supported. Above all, she loved the Lord and her faith remained a meaningful part of her life. Her prayers, warmth, strength, laughter, and unforgettable spirit will be deeply missed and forever cherished by those blessed to have known her.
Earnestine dedicated her working years in childcare, where she had the opportunity to nurture, care for, and positively impact the lives of children. Her caring nature extended far beyond her work, as she genuinely loved people and found joy in caring for others. She was not only a devoted caregiver but also a proud business owner and entrepreneur. She owned and operated her own childcare center, Kid’s Kastle, where she devoted herself to nurturing and caring for children and making a positive impact in the lives of countless families.
Earnestine also owned her own store, Super Dollar, where she demonstrated her determination, independence, and entrepreneurial spirit alongside her late daughter, Pamela Dennise Anderson.
Through her businesses, Earnestine created opportunities for herself while serving and connecting with those in her church and community. Her accomplishments reflected her hard work, strength, and unwavering determination to build something of her own.
Earnestine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter Lee Anderson; daughter, Pamela Dennise Anderson; grandson, Coral Eric Scott Jr.; father, Ernest (Tink) Wright; mother, Louise (Beck) Oxendine Wright.; sister, Barbara (Bobbie) Belt; and brother, Lewis (Bubba) Wright.
Earnestine Anderson, 77, of Wedgefield, South Carolina, peacefully passed away in her home on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
Earnestine leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Sabrena (Tyronne) Anderson and Sheena’ La’Sha (Quantrell) Anderson-Jones; granddaughter, Koral Bre’onna Scott; siblings, Gladys Gooden, Floryetta Savage, Ernell (Leola) Wright, Jean Wright-Davis, Roslyn Wright, and Vanessa Wright; along with other family members, loved ones, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
