Earline Rogers Coakley was born January 12, 1956, in Mayesville, South Carolina to the late Dora Mae Rogers Jefferson and the late Clifton Felder.
Earline was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and graduated from Mayewood High School in 1974. She was known for her witty sense of humor, generous spirit, and deep love for her family and friends.
Earline loved cooking, gardening and family gathering. She worked at Bosch as a machine operator for over eighteen (18) years and transitioned to a CNA to care and love for those who couldn't care for themselves. Her kindness and wisdom will forever be remembered by those who knew her. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by family and sharing laughter and love.
Earline is preceded in death by her mother, Dora Mae Jefferson; father, Clifton Felder; grandson, Amir Jovan Lopez; uncles, Harold Felder, Oliver Felder, Chuck Felder, JD Felder and Henry Myers; aunts, Doretha Swinton and Marjorie Myers; niece, Michelle Rogers; and nephew, William Rogers.
Earline Rogers Coakley peacefully entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 5, 2026, in Sumter, South Carolina.
Earline leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband of twenty-six (26) years, Willie Coakley; children, Wynette (Earl) Wright of Sumter South Carolina, Kevin Parrott of Winder, Georgia, Victoria (Anthony) Davis of California, and Stephanie Parrott of Sumter, South Carolina; grandchildren, Anthony Rogers of Union City, Georgia, Nigel Rogers of Greenville, South Carolina, Kevyon Parrott of Sumter, South Carolina, Shania Coakley of Killeen, Texas, Kenon McCain of Hinesville, Georgia, Maya Rogers of Sumter, South Carolina, Markel Parrott of Sumter, South Carolina, Bre'ona Coakley of Greensboro, North Carolina, Jasmine Davis and Anthony Davis III of California; great-grandchildren, Anthony Rogers Jr, Emori Rogers, Kenon McCain Jr., and Sevyn Rogers; sisters, Gladys Rogers of Mayesville, South Carolina, and Tiara (Sadiq) Harris of Asheville, North Carolina; brother, Terrance (Temeka) Harris of Asheville, North Carolina; nephews, Micheal Rogers, Nehemiah Harris, and Terrance Edwards; nieces, Morgan Cunningham, Tiana Harris and Tenia Edwards; three grand nephews; close friends, Grady and Yvonne Ricks; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
