Devin Javonne Wilson, affectionately known as "Swipe", was born November 5, 1994, in Sumter, South Carolina to Silessa Wilson and Derrick Wilson.   Devin was educated in the public schools of Lee County. Devin enjoyed fishing, riding dirt bikes, playing basketball, football and raising dogs.  Devin enjoyed and loved his family and was very close with his siblings.  He believed that he was everyone's dad. Devin had the ability to share a joke that would light up the entire room with laughter. He had a love for jewelry and being flashy.  Devin was preceded in death by his son, Malachi Wilson; baby brother, Derrick "CD" Wilson; maternal great grandmother, Henrietta "Coot" Lesane; maternal grandmother, Mary Ellen "Miss Sister" Wilson; paternal grandfather, Robert L. Wilson; stepfather, Absonnell "Bucket" McKnight; niece, Jakyla I. Johnson; two aunts, Mae Durant and Doretha Wilson; cousins, Master Russell Massingill Jr. and Denim Dennis; special cousins, Willie O'Brian Dean and Rayquan K. Dean; and a special uncle, Tavares McFadden. Our beloved "Swipe" tragically departed this life on Monday, October 7, 2024, in Ridgeville, South Carolina.  He was 29 years old. Devin "Swipe" Wilson leaves to cherish his memories, his father, Derrick Wilson of Bishopville, SC; mother, Silessa Wilson of Sumter, SC; three  children,  Joshua Cook and Auriana Burroughs, both of Bishopville, SC and Cameron Stuckey of Sumter, SC; three sisters, Deidre (Devonte) Wilson and Shikiya Magazine, both of Bishopville, SC, and Malaysia Wilson of New York; one step sister, Kanyjah McKnight of Sumter, SC; three brothers, Datrick (Shaquille) Wilson of Lynchburg, SC, Diontrae (Jolanda) Epps of Sumter, SC and Reginald Wingate of Columbia, SC; two step brothers, Dejuan Johnson and Davon McKnight both of Sumter, SC; special brother, Caziek Lighty; grandparents; Ruby Wilson of Bishopville, SC and Harry Lesane of Sumter, SC; eleven uncles, Walter (Cynthia) Wilson of Sumter, SC, Wallace (Patricia) Wilson of Sumter, SC, Ricky Durant of Sumter, SC, Clarence (Katie) Wilson of TX, Adrian Lesane of Summerton, SC, Austin (Shemia) Lesane of Columbia SC, Harry "Chris" Lesane of Sumter, SC, Tony Myers of TX, Bobby (Cherie) Lesane of NC, Michael Durant of Sumter, SC, Robert R.
