Dennis was educated in the public schools of Clarendon County and graduated from East Clarendon High School, Class of 1990. After graduation, he entered barber school where he later became a Master Barber. In his later years, Dennis accepted Christ as his personal Savior. He attended Trinity Missionary Baptist Church where he became a member. He was a very active member in the Sumter and Gable communities where he was the Co-Founder and CFO of The #WeBall4Destin Foundation, a nonprofit organization started in honor of his late son, Destin Wise. The foundation awards scholarships to high school students and hosts numerous community events. Dennis was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a social butterfly who never met a stranger. His special gift was being able to have a conversation with anyone he encountered. He loved helping others and always showed support to his family and friends. Dennis has touched the lives of so many with his unconditional love, generosity, and kindness. He will forever be missed. Dennis leaves to cherish his memory, one son, Mariel Wise; daughter, Angel Wise; mother, Rosetta Wise; father, Levi (Rachel) Wise; four brothers, Rogie Wise, Damarian Wise, Edward Junior Wise, and Gervin Evans; six aunts, Minnie WIse, Mattie Evans, Ethel Lee Evans, Sadie Evans, Maple Evans and Carter Jean Evans; four uncles, Edward Wise, Ervin Wise, Larry Evans and Edward Evans, a host of other relatives. and friends.
