David Samuels was born June 7, 1947, in Paxville, South Carolina to the late Willie Mae Farmer.
David was educated in the Clarendon County School System in the Paxville School District. David worked for Georgia Pacific for twenty-five (25) years until its closure and worked for thirty (30) years for A & P Metals until he retired.
In addition to his mother, David was preceded in death by three brothers, Frankie Samuels, William (Rooster) Samuels and his twin brother, Joseph (Bubba) Samuels and a sister-in-law, Mary Samuels.
David departed this life on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, in Sumter, South Carolina.
David leaves to cherish his memories, three children, Tyrone (Carmeshia) Wright, Willie Mae Johnson and Patricia (David) Dunham; nineteen (19) grandchildren; twenty-four (24) great grandchildren; one brother, Joseph (Cathy) Samuels; four sisters, Minnie Pearl Johnson, Agnes (Hampton) McMillian, Rebecca Parrott and Ruth (David) Pugh and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
