Mr. Damien Kyrell Waiters was born on January 19, 1994, to Christine Prioleau Wilson and the late Stolley "Coolie" Waiters Sr. Damien, or "Dame" as he was affectionately called, received his education in the public schools of Sumter County. Dame had the biggest heart for people. You ask anyone about Dame, they are guaranteed to tell you, "Yeah that was a good dude". Dame was the baby out of the bunch but was also the protector of everyone he loved. He always greeted you with a smile, a hug or handshake, and never left without saying "I love you". That was Dame. Dame loved his family and his children more than anything and he would do absolutely anything for them. Dame was preceded in death by his father, Stolley Waiters, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Edmond and Ella Mae Prioleau; paternal grandmother, Eva "Bae" Waiters; two brothers, Jarrel McCray and Jonathan Wilson; aunt, Virginia Collier; two uncles, Charles and Duey Waiters; and niece, Jonala Wilson. Dame received his eternal wings on Monday, October 13, 2025, in Columbia, South Carolina. Dame leaves to cherish these special memories three children, whom he loved the most; two sons, Kahn and Kash; one daughter, Kala Ann of Sumter, SC; mother, Christine Prioleau Wilson of Columbia, SC; five sisters, Lashanda Prioleau, Ashanta (Chedric) Wilson, both of Columbia, SC, Synthia Bradford, Lashonda Waiters and Latonya Waiters, all of Sumter, SC; three brothers, Delvon Waiters, Adrian Waiters, both of Sumter SC, and Stolley Waiters Jr. of Texas; three aunts, Ronda Prioleau of Lexington SC, Tempie (Louis) Pinckney and Deloris Waiters, both of Sumter SC; four uncles, Edmond Prioleau Jr. of Columbia SC, Arnie Waiters, Thornton Waiters and Theodore Collier, all of Sumter, SC; nieces, Anaiya, Ausha, Joniah, Jonasia, Jakhari, Naiyah and E'Lonie, all of Columbia, SC; two cousins raised as siblings, Jesica and Dae'Ron Prioleau, Columbia, SC; and a host of family and friends, who will truly miss Dame.
