Obituary Cynthia Huggins Robinson, affectionately known as, "Cindy", was born February 12, 1971 in Sumter County to the late Sherman Huggins Sr, and Thelma Addison Huggins.                                                                 At an early age, Cynthia joined Canty Memorial Church of God in Christ, in Sumter, SC, where she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior. Cindy was a loving daughter, a loyal sister, a great mom, and a devoted friend.  To all who knew her, she was funny, sweet, loved clothes, and definitely loved her jewelry."Cindy" was employed with the Sumter County Disabilities & Special Needs Board from May 1998 until June 2009.  After 2009, she began to experience various health issues and devoted her time to raising and caring for her niece, Zaniyah.  Cindy moved to Petersburg, Virginia in 2017, where she remained until her untimely death.CIndy departed this life on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Southside Medical Center, Petersburg, VA.Cindy leaves to cherish her fond and precious memories ; her husband, John Robinson of Sumter, SC; her son, Christopher Huggins of Charlotte, NC; her sisters, Sharon (Tracy) Huggins Lowery of Sumter, SC and Chermaine Zuell of TN; brother, Sherman Huggins of Sumter, SC; a very special niece, Zaniyah Tiller of the home; a special cousin/sister, Sandra McKnight of Petersburg, VA; a special aunt, Margaret (Lewis) Dabney of Petersburg, VA.; one special nephew, Ventrell Huggins of Sumter, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.Cynthia was preceded in death by her loving parents, Sherman Sr. and Thelma Addison Huggins, her maternal grand-parents, David Addison, Sr. and Jeannette Addison Fortune; her paternal grandparents, Moses and Irene Damon Huggins; two uncles, David Addison, Jr., and Jerry Addison; and one aunt, Eleanor Parrot.
