Obituary Cormetrius Wardell Samuel was born March 30, 1974, in Florence, SC to the late Ernest and Joann Atkinson Samuel. He was educated in the public schools of Florence County, SC and graduated from Timmonsville High School in 1992. He was very athletic and played basketball and football while in school. Cormetrius was employed at Pilgrim Pride as a maintenance worker and certainly loved his job. He lived his life to the fullest and was known to his family and friends as "Meat". He brought so much joy and laughter to those whom he encountered. He enjoyed spending time with his family and cooking and love them with all of his heart. In addition to his parents, Cormetrius was preceded in death by two brothers, Andre Lamont Samuel and Ahmad Rashad Samuel. Cormetrius leaves to cherish memory, his life partner, Jennifer James; three sons, Keshawn Munford, Zymetrius Samuel and Deandre Samuel; stepson, Leroy Dixon; four daughters, Courtney Rush, Shaneika Bines, A'Shara Samuel and Ajamykia Samuel; two stepdaughters, Victoria Wright and Amanda Ramsey; five sisters, Brandie Williams (Marcus), Amanda Samuel, Alicia Samuel, Erin Samuel and Erica Washington-Pressley (Andrew); two brothers, Camaron Samuel (Varonica) and Demetrius McFadden; a host of aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.  To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Cormetrius, please visit our floral store.
