Clifford Moses was born June 17, 1958, to the late Joseph and Mamie Lee Mickel Moses in Bishopville, South Carolina. Clifford grew up and was educated in the public schools of Lee County. He was a member of the Dennis High School Class of 1976. He was formerly employed with Continental Tire of Sumter. Clifford was kind, caring, and didn't mind helping others if he could help them. He never met a stranger and loved being around people. Clifford accepted Christ at an early age. He joined the Church of God By Faith and attended until his health declined. In addition to his parents, Clifford was preceded in death by one brother, Dexter Moses. Clifford was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 22, 2022, in Columbia, SC. Clifford leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Barbara Moses; four daughters, Laquanda (Steven) Austin-Lunnon, Marylinda (Bobby) Gibson, Frances (Colel) Choice and Marissa Johnson; two grandsons, Stephen Jr., and Tyrenzo; two sisters, Sandra Moses and Twasha (Michael) Woods; four brothers, LeeRoy (Yvonne) Mickel, Anthony (Lillie) Moses, Jerome Moses and Calvin (Jan) Moses; four uncles, Otis Mickle, Booker T. (Sadie) Mickle, Robert Mickel, and Johnny (Rosalind) Mickel; two aunts, Betty Ann Mickel and Sarah Mickel; special friend, Pete Frierson; and a host of beautiful nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
