Charlette Lizer Taylor-Woods was born June 18, 1964, in Sumter, South Carolina to the late Edith Taylor and Charlie Howard. Charletta was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. She also studied accounting at Central Carolina Technical College, where she graduated with an associate's degree. In addition to her parents, Charletta was preceded in death by one brother, Johnnie Taylor; one sister, Georgia Ann Taylor, and a niece, LaSaysha Taylor-Kelly. Charletta departed this life on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Prisma Health Tuomey in Sumter, South Carolina. Charletta's memories will be cherished by her husband, Raymond Woods of Nashville, TN; two children, Rayneka (Harry) Taylor and Leshad (Demitria) Sanders both of Sumter, SC; three granddaughters, Ausharie Taylor, Charlise Taylor-Porter, and Nahkiyah Sanders, all of Sumter, SC; two grandsons, Demari Taylor-Porter and Leshad Sanders Jr., both of Sumter, SC; four brothers, Clarence Taylor, of Columbia, SC, Charles D. (Sarah)  Howard of Sumter, SC, Vincent L. (Julianne) Howard of Dover, DE, and Terrence D. (Towatha) Howard of Lavergne, TN; one sister, Cynthia (Richard) Providence of Valley Stream, NY; five nieces, Courtney Bradley, Charlise Howard, T'era Howard, Ashlee Howard, Treasure Howard, all of Sumter, SC; six nephews, Joseph Howard, Brandon Howard, Rashawn Howard, Bryan Howard, Cortland Howard, Eaan Howard, all of Sumter, SC; three aunts; Gloria (Freddie) Taylor-Gallishaw of Sumter, SC,  Thomasena (Tim) Taylor-Martin of Spartanburg, SC and Mildred (Lucious) Taylor-Maple of Sumter, SC; and a host fond memories will also be shared by a host of special cousins, relatives, and dear friends.
