Calvin Timothy Phillips, Jr. was born May 22, 1979, in Sumter, South Carolina to Calvin Phillips, Sr. and the late Annette Burgess Phillips. Calvin was educated in the public schools of Sumter County, South Carolina and spent some time in the state of Tennessee. Calvin accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and attended the Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Sumter, South Carolina. Calvin was a son, brother, father and a friend to many, not a perfect person however a man who enjoyed life and people.  In addition to his mother, Calvin was preceded in death by a nephew, Tykeem Phillips. Calvin departed this earthly life on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, in Sumter, South Carolina. Calvin leaves to cherish his memories, ten children, Kalvae, Taylor, Kooper, Teona, Gabrielle, Tristan, Anderson, Tayvon, Jhaceon and Kaywoin; two grandchildren; father, Calvin (Pearlena) Phillips, Sr.; five sisters, Latisha Sumpter, Donetta Phillips, Selena Burgess, Alishia McCollough and Yolanda Phillips; special friend, Tierra Hardy; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
