Obituary

Obituary On Tuesday October 19, 2021, God summoned his angels to earth to pick a flower that was needed for his garden. A precious soul was called home to rest after battling an illness for several years, one in which she won. When the battle is over, she shall wear her crown. Barbara Jean Harrison was born July 28, 1946, in Sumter County to the late Richard Harrison and the late Charlotte Croskey Wilson. After graduating high school, she made the moved to New York where she lived in Brooklyn and made it her home for over 50 years. She was an avid reader and loved reading novels. She had a bold spirit, yet humble as a lamb. She was not one to mince words, but each one was meant to inspire and encourage.  She attended and graduated from NY State college. She was employed in the medical field for many years until her retirement.
