Ariel Anfel Montgomery, born on June 29, 2010, was the beloved daughter of Teresa Nicole Singleton and Michael Montgomery of Sumter, SC.
Ariel loved to dance, create art, and draw beautiful pictures that reflected her bright imagination. We imagine her now twirling among the stars, painting the sky with color, and smiling brightly as she spreads joy wherever she goes. Like a gentle butterfly, her beautiful spirit will continue to flutter through our lives — in quiet moments, warm memories, and loving hugs shared in her name. Known for her bright spirit and gentle heart, Ariel had a deep love for dancing and animals. Whether moving to music with joy or showing compassion toward every creature she encountered, she radiated kindness and warmth. Her smile could light up a room, and her laughter brought comfort and happiness to those around her.
Ariel shared a special and unbreakable bond with her twin sister, Pilar Penelope Montgomery, whose life was forever enriched by Ariel’s love and companionship. Ariel was also a cherished sister to her four brothers — Nathanial, Noah, Roman, and Staton Montgomery — who will carry her memory in their hearts always.
Ariel’s life, though far too short, was filled with light, love, and joy that touched everyone who knew her. Her passing is an unimaginable loss, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and community. Though she is no longer with us in body, Ariel’s spirit will forever live on through the love she gave, the memories she created, and the lives she touched. She leaves behind a legacy of innocence, joy, and unconditional love. Although our hearts ache with grief, we take comfort in knowing that Ariel now rests in God’s loving arms. Her earthly journey has ended, but her eternal life has just begun. We hold fast to the promise that we will see her again, where there will be no more pain, no more tears, only everlasting peace and joy.
Ariel Anfel Montgomery will always be remembered, always cherished, and forever loved.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
— Psalm 34:18
