Mrs. Annie Boykin Toney was born December 9, 1952 in Sumter S.C. to the late Lamb and Annie Rivers Boykin. She received her education at Lincoln High in Sumter, S.C. She was employed as a laborer at Georgia Pacific and had a career as a cook at Sumter School District and Morris College. In her pastime she was known for her famous cinnamon rolls, cooking, feeding everyone and spending time with her family. She was also knowns as Mrs. Frizzle "The Neighborhood Grandma." She was proceeded in death by her late husband Spencer Toney Sr. and granddaughter Jamie Harvin. She leaves to cherish her memories; two sons, Sammie Rhodes (Marketta Wright) of Columbia S.C. and Spencer Toney of Sumter S.C.; six daughters: Donna Williams of Fort Mill S.C., Lisa Rhodes of Sumter S.C., Allison Harvin (James) of Sumter S.C., Roslin Nickens (Rondell) of Sumter S.C., Tronni Rhodes of Sumter S.C. and Monica McCoy (Chauncey) of Sumter S.C., two brothers; Johnny Boykin (Debra) of Sumter SC, and Henry Hair of Philadelphia, PA, twenty-five grandchildren, thirty-two great-grands and a host of nieces and nephews.
