Alston affectionally known as Niecey was born March 2, 1971 in Sumter County to the late Willie and  Eliza Hunter Alston. Anissa was a graduate of the Class of 1989 from Hillcrest High School in Dalzell, SC. Later in life Anissa was baptized and became a member of Greater Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church of Sumter, SC. Anissa held numerous positions with Sumter School District being her last before becoming disabled. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her paternal grandparents, Theola Alston, Harold Alston and Millie Kirkland Alston, maternal grandparents, Charlie and Mary P. Hunter. She departed her earthly life on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 in Sumter, SC. She leaves to cherish her fond memories, her fiancé, William Missouri; two brothers, Kenneth R. Alston of Rembert, SC and Endre (Clarissa) Alston of Florence, SC; a sister, Leshawne R. Alston of Washington, DC; three nieces, Sasha, Chantell and Tatyana; one nephew, Trevon (Trista) Alston; one great nephew, Trayvion, five great nieces, London, Nahla, Camryn, Skylar and Amirah; two  uncles, Charlie Hunter and Council Hunter; five aunts,  Virginia Ardis, Elizabeth (Alphonso) Goode, Jessie Mae, Odessa Mae and Lynne Hunter; two grand aunts, Josephine Spencer of Newark, NJ, Jessie Haile of Jamaica Queens, NY; step-aunts and uncles, Francis (Mary) Kirkland, Leavy Kirkland, Dianne (Walter) Talley, Jessie (Edward) Garrison and a host of other relatives and friends.   To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Anissa T.
