Andre' Terrell Bishop was born on January 29, 1991, in Sumter, South Carolina to Sandra Y. Sigler Petty and Larry D. Bishop. Andre' graduated from high school in 2009. He joined the Army in February of 2011 and served our country with honor during "Operation Enduring Freedom". He was honorably discharged in the spring of 2014. Upon his discharge from the military, he furthered his education at Georgia Southern University. Andre' graduated in May of 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Occupational Therapy. As a child Andre' enjoyed visiting amusement parks, riding his bicycle, and playing video games. He also loved to fish, listen to music, writing poetry, traveling, exercising, and attending sporting events. Some of his most memorable and cherished moments were when he visited the Football Hall of Fame and Niagara Falls. Andre' was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Fred Sigler Jr. and Bertha Mae Choice Sigler; paternal grandfather, Larry L. Marsh; paternal great-grandmothers, Odessa Brookins and Lizzie M. Marsh; and a special cousin, Dwayne Sanders Jr. On Wednesday, January 10, 2024, Andre' departed this earthly life in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Andre' leaves to cherish his memories, his parents, Sandra Y. (Kevin) Sigler Petty of Sumter, SC, and Larry D. Bishop of Hope Mills, NC; one brother, Domonick A. Sigler of Honduras; grandmothers, Barbara A. Bishop of Buffalo, NY and Viola Marsh of Mansfield, OH; godmother, Pamela Harrison of Sumter, SC; uncles, Willie (Sharon) Sigler of Sumter, SC, Donald (Cassandra) Sigler of Edgewood, MD, Frederick L. Sigler Sr. of Augusta, GA, Marcus Goss of Buffalo, NY, and Lamar (Rhonda) Marsh of Mansfield, OH; aunts, Carolyn (William) Hunt and Brenda (Larry) Britton both of Sumter, SC, Terri Wharton of Columbia, SC, Andrea Goss of Yorktown, VA, Athena Marsh of Columbus, OH, and Tanya (Ian) Isidore of Amherst, NY; grand uncle, Clarence "Jimmy" Sigler of Wedgefield, SC; two special grand aunts, Kimberly Brookins Lindsey of Mansfield, OH, and Katie (Rev. Lemuel L.) Washington of Wedgefield, SC; and a host of close cousins, other relatives, and friends.
