Alphonza was born on October 19, 1974 in Sumter, SC to the late Deacon Willie Hasty, Jr. and Blanche Zeigler Hasty. Alphonza was educated in the public schools of Clarendon County. He later joined the Job Corp where he worked construction until his health failed. On Friday, August 19, 2022, Alphonza heard His Master's call at Prisma Health Richland Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal grandparents, Dosha and Melva Wood Zeiglar; paternal grandparents, Deacon Willie Hasty, Sr. and Geneva Byrd Hasty. Alphonza leaves to cherish his memories four children, Angelica Hasty, Alexis Adams, Alphonza Hasty, Jr., and Andres Hasty; five grandchildren; brother, Michael C. Hasty; ten aunts, five uncles, one niece, one nephew, and a host of other relatives and friends.
