Aleshia Abrams Grinnell was born on May 6, 1954, to the late George and Eliza Abrams. Aleshia was a 1972 graduate of Sumter High School. She obtained an Associates degree in Marketing and a second degree in Accounting from Central Carolina Technical College. She worked caring for children and the elderly. In addition to her parents, Aleshia was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Grinnell; brother, George Abrams Jr.; two sisters, Mary Lee Ballard and Thelma Bullock; and nephew, Michael Anthony Ballard. Aleshia passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Doctors Hospital, Augusta, Georgia. Aleshia leaves to cherish her memories four siblings, Sharon McCoy, Betty B. Washington, Melissa Abrams, and Thameka Doughty; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Aleshia will truly be missed.
