Obituary Ada Cooper Kirby was born October 4, 1940 in Gable, SC and was a beloved daughter of the late Robert and Cora Johnson Cooper.Ada was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and was a member of the graduating Class of 1961 from Eastern High School. After graduation, she moved to Philadelphia, PA where she became employed at Temple University as a Nurse Aide.In addition to her parents, Ada was preceded in death by three sisters, Gladys Felder, Sarah Caesar and Jessie Neat; three brothers, Robert Cooper, James Cooper and Jerome Johnson; a niece, Diane Tomlin and nephew, Walter Felder.Ada departed this life on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Prisma Health Tuomey in Sumter, SC, her presence will be greatly missed, however we know she is in a better place. A place full of happiness for eternity.Ada leaves to cherish her memory three sons, David (Jeanette) Cooper, Sr., Raymond Kirby and Allen Kirby; a grandson, David Cooper, Jr.; great granddaughter, Khiayla Cooper; three sisters, Fannie Cooper, Mary Robinson and Dorothy Johnson; brother, Clifton Johnson; two sisters-in-law, Eunice Cooper and Sadie Cooper and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
