And when this journey on earth is completed, we find peace in the thought that a new and better journey begins."Marvin Capers, husband of Makeylia Wilson Capers, was born on February 18, 1977 to the late John Henry and Rosa Webster Capers in Sumter, South Carolina. Marvin attended the Public Schools of Sumter County. Marvin was a very outgoing person with a very good sense of humor. He was a loving husband, father, brother and uncle. He was employed at Santee Print Works since 1999 and was affectionally known as Rico to his co-workers. In addition to his parents, Marvin was preceded in death by a brother and his grandparents. Marvin departed this earthy life on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Palmetto Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC. Marvin leaves to cherish his memory, his lovely wife of 9 years; Makeylia Wilson Capers, two daughters; Malayah and Madasyn Capers, a sister, Debbie (Andre) Capers; two brothers John (Astrid) Capers and Edward Capers; mother-in-law, Inez Girinnell, brother-in-law, Erik (Tinikki) Wilson, special uncle, Aaron Wilson; four aunts, Rosa Lee (Harry) Capers, Martha (Sammie) Gary, Margaret Rivers and Grace Wright; two uncles James (Helen) Capers, and Wayne (Margaret) Capers; two nephews, David (Deania) Capers and Tre'shawn Smith, a niece, LaTisha Capers, several aunts and uncle, and a host of other relatives and friends.
