Khanesia Sincere Commander, 18, was born in Sumter, South Carolina on June 28, 2006. She was the third of five children born to Yolanda Holliday and Kevin Commander. Khanesia received her education in the public schools of Sumter. She was known for her outgoing and sweet nature, always willing to help anyone in need. Khanesia's smile, positivity, and upbeat attitude were contagious, making her a beloved friend to many. She was deeply committed to her family and brought joy to countless others. Khanesia's memory will be cherished by all who know her. Khanesia was preceded in death by her mother, Yolanda Holliday; brother, Nyheem Burgess; maternal great grandmothers, Bessie Baxter, Easter Ladson and Betty Jean Commander; great grandfathers, Henry Holliday and Frank Ladson; first cousin, Casondra Cowell; second cousins, Debra Rhodes, Joshua Edmondson, and Asia Rembert; aunts, Annie Singleton and Easter Mae Ladson; and uncles, Henry Holliday Jr., Prince Albert Baxter, and John Baxter. Khanesia Sincere Commander passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter, South Carolina. Khanesia leaves to cherish her precious memories, her father, Kevin (Filanta) Commander of Sumter, South Carolina; two sisters, Nizeria Jackie Holliday and Ashley Kori Holliday, both of Sumter, South Carolina; brother, DeMarcus Jerell Holliday of Sumter South Carolina; one nephew, Ashton Cocklin of Sumter, South Carolina; grandparents, Jacquline Holliday, Samuel Rembert, Leroy Montgomery, and Willie Mae Montgomery, all of Sumter, South Carolina; three aunts, Natasha (Alfie) Harrison of Rembert, South Carolina, Barbara Holliday (Anthony) of Sumter, South Carolina, and Crystal (Earl) Fulwood of Dalzell, South Carolina; four uncles, Patrick Holliday of Lillington, North Carolina, Samuel (Sabrina) Williams of Greenville, South Carolina, Marvin Montgomery, Sumter, South Carolina, and Leroy Commander of Georgia; great aunts, Francine (Roosevelt) Moses, Minnie Johnson, Mary Clark, Joe Ann Aiken, Helen (Perry) Edwards, Deborah (Bennie) Johnson, Lillie (Eddie) Williams, and Loretta (John) Osborne; great uncles, Lawrence (Arthelia) Baxter, Robert (Delores) Baxter and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
