She left Sumter, SC seeking employment in the state of New York. She came home to marry her sweetheart William Gregg Jr., a member of the Keel’s Family of Cane Savannah, SC; on December 10, 1960. They return to Yonkers, New York to begin their life journey together. “Bet” enjoyed her soap operas; “General Hospital” and “Days of our Lives”. She also enjoyed coming home and visiting family. She accepted Christ at an early age at Orangehill Reformed Methodist Union Episcopal Church, now renamed Orangehill Independent Methodist Church. She spent the majority of her life in Yonkers, New York before relocating to Port St. Lucie, Florida; due to declining health, with her eldest son, Jarvis and his family. “Bet” was proceeded in death by her parents; husband, William Gregg, Jr.; grand-daughter, Arisha Harris; Five brothers, Fred Sigler, Jr., Willie “Robert” Sigler, Elijah “James” Sigler, Roosevelt “Sam” Sigler Sr., Tommy Sigler; Two sisters, Willie Mae Murray, Dorothy Mae Sigler; Brother-in-law, McKinley Murray; Sister-in-law, Bertha Mae Choice Sigler. “Bet” leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Jarvis (Sharon) Sigler, Port St. Lucie, Florida and William Gregg III, South Carolina; one brother, Clarence “Jimmy” Sigler, one sister, Katie Sigler (Rev. Lemuel) Washington both of Wedgefield, SC; Grandchildren: Javon Harris, Anthony Harris, Stacy Sigler, all of Richmond, Virginia; Keshonta Bracey, Columbia, SC; Marcus Sigler, Port St. Lucie, Florida; Lauren Gregg, Yonkers, New York, Moeisha Gregg, Bronx, New York, both reared in the home by their Grandmother; Jatalia Gregg, Sumter, SC; Daquan Gregg, Kayla Gregg, Bronx, New York; William Shaheed Gregg, William Daddiy Gregg, both of New Rochelle, New York; Fourteen Great-grandchildren; Sister-in-laws; Mary Sigler, Carolyn Preston Rollins, both of West Palm Beach, Florida; Shirley Sigler (Timothy) Jackson, Hyattsville, Maryland, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
